Plot Overview
Set against the stark class divide of modern Cardiff, Wales, Ria Powell (Gabrielle Creevy) is a young cleaner struggling financially in an unhappy, dead-end relationship. Her life changes when she lands a job cleaning for Fran Sharp (Eve Myles), a wealthy, highly confident, and charismatic business owner living in a grand mansion.
Captivated by Fran’s lifestyle and self-assurance, Ria builds an intense, intoxicating friendship with her employer. Fran encourages Ria to assert herself and take control of her life. However, following Fran’s advice, a wild, drunken night out leads to a shocking sequence of crimes.
As law enforcement closes in, Fran and Ria’s dynamic spirals into a manipulative, high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse, bound together by dangerous secrets and uncertain loyalties.
