Plot Overview
Ray Shoesmith (Scott Ryan) is a criminal hitman for hire navigating the underground criminal network of Sydney, Australia. However, Ray isn’t just a ruthless enforcer—he is also a devoted single father to his young daughter Brittany, a caring brother to his terminally ill sibling Bruce, a loyal friend to his best mate Gary, and a tender boyfriend trying to maintain a normal romantic relationship.
The series balances Ray’s brutal line of work—collecting debts, kidnapping rivals, and carrying out assassinations—with the mundane, relatable challenges of domestic everyday life. As his personal and professional worlds inevitably collide, Ray must navigate his own uncompromising moral code while managing the escalating violence around him.
