Plot Overview
Set in modern-day Los Angeles, the series centers on Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Shemar Moore), a born-and-raised L.A. native and former Marine who is tapped to lead a specialized tactical unit within the LAPD.
Following an accidental shooting of an unarmed Black teenager by a previous officer, Hondo is placed in command of the unit to help heal community trust while maintaining law and order.
